Public Consultation - Commercial Entities (Substance Requirements) (Amendment) Bill, 2020

Dear Directors,

 The Ministry of Finance, in its capacity as the Competent Authority, invites the public to submit written comments on proposed amendments to CESRA. See attached.

The proposed amendment seeks to clarify the definition of certain relevant activities and the core income generated  activity related thereto. The draft Bill also revises the content of the Forms in the First Schedule of CESRA.

Please review and  provide any feedback you may have on the Bill to the CA via  email competentauthoritymof@bahamas.gov.bs by 31st October, 2020. In the alternative, feedback can also be sent to fjoseph@bfsb-bahamas.com which can be forwarded to the CA.
